My local supplier accused me of running my Husqvarna 350 on a weak mixture, which was not correct & indeed 2 Stihls & another Husky (346 XP) were running fine on the same mixture.
After a bit of a fight, they replaced the pot & piston under warranty.Advised me to run it at lower revs on a rich mixture to run it in.
After less than a gallon shared between this saw & a Stihl MS170, I seem to have the same problem again.
It will be interesting to see what the dealer says this time (now outside war …

Husqvarna 350 has been a problem since purchased new.
Out of the box saw ran poorly. Took in under warranty and was told it was bad gas despite my protests. Took home and started and still sounded funny, turned off and was unable to restart. Returned to warranty dealer: Motor/carb replaced.
Started and sound great after this. Ran for short period of time when muffler fell off damaging female threads and plastic body of saw.
I have a Homelite 14″ saw purchased in 1987 that still works like a cham ..

I have read all of the past reviews on the Husqvarna 350 Chain Saw and I know why there is a lot of people with problems with the saw. I think it is great I just finished my 50th cord of wood with this thing and have had it for three years. Not sure exactly who it is that states it should have a 50-1 mix, maybe the EPA. What I can tell you is that this is completely wrong. It makes the saw run too hot, causing the aluminum head to heat up thus mufflers coming off, warping the bar etc….It makes …

I don’t own one of these, but work with a guy that took his in for a blown piston. He brought it in, and they told him it would cost more to fix it then to buy it new. He Lowe’s hardware and raised a stink so they replaced it at now charge by giving him the 450 series. Both Lowe’s and the repair shop said they have been having major troubles with the 350. It may be worth trying to take it back.

After owning a Husky model 61 for many years I decided to step down to a lighter saw for smaller logs. A Husky 350 seemed to fit the bill. Although not as powerful as the 61, the 350 did all I expected of it. Less vibration than the 61, in my estimation it ran at faster RPM’s than the 61 and was more comfortable all around to use than the 61. I did, however, notice that the oiler was not lubricating the chain properly. In-as-much as the oiler is adjustable, it still seemed to inadequately oil th …

Geraldo Stulick:
I own a Tree Company and started out with Husky 350 over five years ago. The Stihl Chainsaws I purchased at the same time are still working perfectly. The 350 Husky did well for a year then the body bolts fell out soon followed by the muffler. Body bolts are easily replaced. Unfortunately the muffler is not easily replaced. I have had several repairs on The 350 costing over $200.00 not to mention the aggravation of downtime. The repairs have never been successful for long 30 minutes tops. I have noticed that subsequent Huskies now have a muffler bracket to hold the muffler on. Unfortunately for me I bought the prototype and feel ripped off.

Joan Haslip:
Husky 350 is a beast! However, I have had problems with muffler. I took it to repair while under warranty and they tried locktite and put another smaller bolt to hold muffler in place. It worked for few jobs but came off again. Now I am considering tapping head with little larger bolt to keep muffler on. Others did tell me to buy stihl but couldn’t justify price for what I could get this! I have had mine for about 4years and love the power! But come on Husky get it right!!
