I own a Tree Company and started out with Husky 350 over five years ago. The Stihl Chainsaws I purchased at the same time are still working perfectly. The 350 Husky did well for a year then the body bolts fell out soon followed by the muffler. Body bolts are easily replaced. Unfortunately the muffler is not easily replaced. I have had several repairs on The 350 costing over $200.00 not to mention the aggravation of downtime. The repairs have never been successful for long 30 minutes tops. I have noticed that subsequent Huskies now have a muffler bracket to hold the muffler on. Unfortunately for me I bought the prototype and feel ripped off.

Husky 350 is a beast! However, I have had problems with muffler. I took it to repair while under warranty and they tried locktite and put another smaller bolt to hold muffler in place. It worked for few jobs but came off again. Now I am considering tapping head with little larger bolt to keep muffler on. Others did tell me to buy stihl but couldn’t justify price for what I could get this! I have had mine for about 4years and love the power! But come on Husky get it right!!
